Except for the first shot of A New Hope, you don’t really appreciate how big the ships are in the rest of the movie. But in Rogue One, you’re constantly reminded of scale. Size scale size. I like the Rogue One shot when the Tie Fighter flies in front of Jyn… it's not even used in the movie! So good. Anyway, I tried to mimic the sort of scale that Director Gareth Edwardsl and DOP Greig Fraser achieve.

As for the size, 11” x 17” is for comics so I thought it would be appropriate if this painting was in the anamorphic widescreen ratio like the Star Wars movies.
